Kidney racket co-accused to be produced on Mar 20

Ambala, March 7 Taking serious notice of the non-appearance of the three persons involved in the kidney case on production warrant from Tihar jail Delhi, special CBI magistrate R N Bharati asked the CBI to produce Dr Suraj, Gayasuddin and Jagdish, accomplices of kidney king Dr Amit Kumar in court on March 20, along with the other accused Dr Amit, Dr Manoj and Dr K K Aggarwal.

The Court also accepted the applications of Dr Amit and Dr Upinder for granting them exemption, since both were being tried in other courts in the states of Rajasthan and Uttar Pradesh. March 20 has been set as the next date of hearing.

The special CBI court also fixed March 10 for hearing of the bail application of Pooja, wife of Dr Jiwan, who was lodged in judicial custody.
