Kingfisher Air July-March net loss at Rs 1.88 bn

Mumbai, October 16: Kingfisher Airlines Ltd, India's No 2 private carrier, on Thursday reported a net loss for the nine-month period from July 1 2007 to March 31, 2008.

The airline posted a net loss of 1.88 billion rupees on net sales of 14.41 billion rupees, it said in a statement.

The accounting year of Kingfisher Airlines has been changed to April to March from July to June, the airline said in a statement.

Shares of Kingfisher Airlines were down 9.85 per cent at 40.25 rupees in a weak Mumbai market.
