New Delhi If the Income Tax department is to be believed then former Jharkhand Chief Minister Madhu Koda did not spare even government schemes for allegedly making illegal profits for himself.

The Income Tax department officials, who have been scrutinising the voluminous documents of Koda, alleged that the former Chief Minister had made an investment through his associates in the government-sponsored rural electrification programme in Uttar Pradesh and earned a profit worth Rs 30 crore.

According to the documents seized during searches at Lucknow, the Income Tax department claimed to have found that Koda through his associates had made straight away profit of Rs 30 crore in a rural electrification contract worth Rs 150 crore in Lucknow.

The IT officials said Koda had also made an investment worth about Rs 22 crore in a leading glass manufacturing company - Indo Asahi - which they claimed to be a part of his alleged illegal wealth accumulated during his tenure as Minister and later as Chief Minister.

The I-T officials alleged that the money was routed to the glass company through newly floated financial companies Anjani Putra Ispat Limited and Creative Fiscal Services by Koda.

Joi Ho Koda, Joi Ho Raja and Joi Ho ghootala? by Ratia Munda on 03 Nov 2009

The parties who installed and continued to support Madhu Koda govt are equally guilty of this biggest ever scam of Jharkhand. There should not be any doubt about the supporting parties involvement in this looting. Surprisingly, the Aam admi's party once again kept mum on this big looting of Jharkhand. That is why, despite of riches with mineral and resources the economic condition of the people and the state has deteriorated day by day. Of course, we should not expect any justice from this political alliance, after the recent 60K telecome scam, and corrupted minister is still enjoying the support of the clean prime minister and sonia gandh. Joi Ho Koda, Joi Ho Raja.

Koda and others making money. by P.S.Panwar on 03 Nov 2009

Politicians spent a lot lot of money in elections,so it is required to recouped . Neitherwe are able to take any action against the politicians nor judiciary is able to give timely judgement. We should not waste our energy and time in such cases and close all investigations, even the police don't give the correct evidence and help the criminals. Let us have it 'NEW GANDHI RAJ' and forget all about it till such time the naxals take control of the country!

Congi...RJD R part of looters by ilarum on 03 Nov 2009

Who made Khoda as CM? Who supported him very 'strongly'? Even after some Ministers/JMM theatened to withdraw support, RJD, shamelessly, as usaul, supported him to continue as CM. Hence it shows Shri Khoda given bags/breifcases to Congi leader(s) and RJD and JMM leaders. After distribution only, his net 'earnings' raised that much. So, IT, CBI ...why don't U raid on the persons concerned who supported his government very stongly?
