Federal Investigation Agency (FIA) had sought the physical remand of the six suspects, local Geo TV reported.
Citing unnamed Foreign Office sources, it said Rawalpindi's anti-terrorism court granted physical remand of the suspects into the FIA custody on Saturday.
The judge issued the order after reviewing evidence produced by investigative agency against them, the sources were quoted as saying.
The judge recorded the suspects' statements before sending them to physical remand, the report said.
Meanwhile, 'Dawn' today reported, quoting an unnamed security official, that the suspects, including Lakhvi, were produced before judge Sakhi Mohammed Kahut of the anti-terrorism court at an undisclosed location.
The FIA is expected to submit a charge-sheet against the suspects at the end of the remand, it said. The agency has already conducted preliminary investigations into the case.
Lakhvi, the alleged mastermind of the Mumbai attacks, was arrested in December near Muzaffarabad, the capital of Pakistan-occupied Kashmir.

To me it is not mere a problem between india and pakistan ,Americans helped Taliban to throw USSR out of Afghanistan and to me Pakistan has not so much resources and guts it can fight America and Nato along side Taliban and india. Taliban are getting support from some other source too.May be Russia is taking revenge by beating America in afghanistan and it will go on and on . Russia is silent isnt Russai Silent?

It is all drama under intense international pressure to buy time. I guarantee you nothing will happen.Pakistan will never change. India must seek the custody of all the suspects named by Pakistan. Since the crime took place in india suspects must be tried under indian laws in indian courts.There is no need for extradition treaty as under the SAARC agreements provision exists for handing over suspects. India must never agree for their trial in Pakistan.
It is a good omen that Pakistan is showing its trust toward the world.I think Pakistan is on the right track.But I pray that it might not be a ridicule.In my opinion India should scrutinize the local help from its territory.I think RSS must have a strong hand in this attack or they used this chance to executive their hidden agenda to kill our powerful police officer Carkere. Your comparison of RSS and LeT smacks ignorance from your part. If you follow news, you would see, RSS is even opposed to the anti-valentine's day agitation currently going on in India on the grounds that it is a) violent b) infringes on individual rights. They only support any non-violent way to oppose what they perceive cultural hegamony.
