Evidence collected in the investigation of the deadly siege points to Zaki-ur-Rehman Lakhvi and Yusuf Muzammil, the official said, speaking on condition of anonymity because he wasn't authorised to speak publicly about the details.
Lakhvi and Muzammil are believed to be top members of the Lashkar-e-Toiba.
US Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice arrived in Pakistan on Thursday for meetings with civilian and military leaders after visiting India. She aimed to raise pressure on Pakistan's government to help get to the bottom of the terror attacks.
The US wants Pakistan to do more to go after terror cells rooted in Pakistan. Rice traded places with Joint Chiefs of Staff Chairman Mike Mullen, who was pushing the same message in Pakistan on Wednesday.

Sir,There has been talk going round the city that there are few more terrorist roaming around the city, which is understandable considering the bomb blast at Vile Parle coincides with the terrorist attack at Taj and other places. I am sure that the investigation may be in progress. Who are the culprits? Have they have been accounted for. What is the govt doing about it? I am sure these guys can not roam around the city without the help of local people, more than the terrorist, those supports and provide shelter to these guys should be expeditiously brought to justice.90% or even 99% of the muslims are patriotic and loves India and they would like to coexist with the brothers of Hindu and Christian community. Likewise, Hindu and Christian also wishes to live with their muslim brothers. May God bless our country

Mr. Junaid, When few handful of terrorists with the label of muslims do atrocities you conveniently wash your self by distancing all muslims are not terrorists. but when few scums of india who brand themselves as Hindus groan a bit immediately you start wailing that al hindus are demons and trying to chase you from india. Why these paradox in your mental frame. Accept the fact whenever some social evil is started by anyone the sufferers would be from both sides. It dosen't mean that any particular community only would suufer. Even in the post godhra shameful riots in gujrat the statistics says that more than 400 Hindus also died. But the media always highlights that it is only muslims suffered in the hands of hindus. Please accept that the terrorists and the criminals don't differentiate between you as a muslim and me as a hindu. i know there are hundreds of hindus including mumbai cops are under Dawood and Chota rajan payrolls. Its money and drugs that rule the communities and not any god neither Krishna nor allah nor jesus.
Dear Junaid, I have to agree with you. Inspite of being a BJP supported i strongly condemn the inciting speeches their leaders at times deliver. But the fact is all parties and esp Congress consider Muslims as just the vote bank. The only solution lies in education, education and education. An educated person be it Muslim or Hindu is respected everywhere
Mr. Junaid: many things that you say are right. However, just to clarify that the apprehended terrorist was made to listen to the speeches by his trainers in ? (not by his captors in India) so as to incite him more. I think you misunderstood

Why is the official who is not authorized to publicize the information leaking it to the press? Such leaks are sensational but not in the best interests of solving the case - remember the Arushi case? The press has to show maturity by not publishing any unauthorized information.
Before we sart any further debate on who is or not responsible for this attack on mumbai, let us come clean as to why we hesitate in punishing such criminals who are within our own hands. Why the investigation follwed by the judicial system takes such a long time that the very purpose is defeated. Why have we not so far punished the attackers on parliament. The fact is that majority of suc criminals carry a muslim name and if we punish them we shall be branded as "Anti Muslim" or "Anti - Minority". identical shall happen with others also be it Dawood or any body else including Let.
Who ever plans[internal or extrenal people] it is the responsibility of our security agncies to defy them.First correct our security agency.[It could be shocking if our media story{although i don't believe} of people coming from sea route is correct.]Terrorsits will come from neghbours or our own backyard.We don't have to beg neighbour for handing our them.We don't punish our own people who killed muslims, Sikhs and Now New target Chirstians.

I feel more important that politicians must be hanged before you do the process of controling the terrorist. The major useless fellow like Deskhmukh, Sheila Dixit, Amarsingh and etc. are to be given strong punishment. I knew by writing in this column, its difficult to punish them.. We should have a system like where we can write our grievances and put them to the govt. So they can punish the persons if found guilty..Already sitting judges itself great frauds..spending tax payers money on foreign trips.. if judiciary itself has lot of loopholes, then how come, politicians be true enough to law?? So only our India is riping the fruit because of atrocities made by the useless politicians, judges and govt. officials..I think Antony does better job in party politics than defence minister..why dont he resign the defence minister post and do all nasty politics to his party?? In my opinion, the local supporters of this terrorists should be identified and hanged immediately. Only then we can contain this menace. But this government appeasement policy just for vote bank will do?. Supreme Court shall come out with a ruling that those convicted in terrorism should be hanged within 7 days and should be telecasted. This create fear to our neighbours and the locals who support this.. We should take precedence from isreal.
why always blame LeT, SIMI and other outfits? Why not blame politicians who always support muslims terrorist organisations? If it is true that LeT as involved, why not sentense them to death for their role- Can our politician do that?Why not blame Sheila Dixit for supporting Afzal Guru for not being hanged? Why not blame Maharastra CM for not hanging Sanjay Dutt for his involvement in Mumbai train blast? I have no problems in govt. cleaning muslim organizations, but there should not be any double standard. I have even heard that RSS has hand in gloves with ISI, is that true?
