Chhapra (Bihar) In the coming Lok Sabha polls, Union Railway Minister and RJD supremo Lalu Prasad Yadav, who currently represents Chapra, will contest from Saran.

He is not actually changing his constituency because, after delimitation, the Chapra seat has been rechristened as Saran, Yadav said here on Sunday.

Terming terrorism and communalism as twin sisters of evil, he said the “communal” BJP and its allies would be trounced at the hustings as people would vote for the “developmental” policies of the UPA.

Claiming that the BJP and its allies were responsible for the advent of fundamentalist forces, the RJD leader predicted that L K Advani would never be able to become the prime minister, as projected by the “saffron forces”.

Advocating quota for the poor among the upper castes, he said that his party would support the Constitution Amendment Bill to give them the benefits of reservation.
