My last memorable meal was at a place called La Pladge in Goa on New Year’s Eve. The fact that I was there with my close friends made the evening very special. The hotel, done-up in a Portuguese style, had a breathtaking view of the sea. I enjoyed every bit of the French cuisine that comprised chicken liver with onion jam, beef carpaccio and raw tuna seasoned with sesame. We also had grape juice and mouth watering desserts — hot chocolate cake with caramel cream and caramel custard with strawberries. The ambience, courteous staff and great food made it a great dinner.
