When the CBI included Pinarayi Vijayan's name in the list of accused in the Lavlin case, the CPM youth wing leader said they would deal with anybody trying to even suggest Pinarayi's culpability would be severely dealt with on the streets. One minister said that he would cut away the hands of anybody who burns the effigy or photo of Pinarayi in protest against the high-handedness of the CPM goons. What is the difference between the Taliban and the CPM, both of whom want everybody to toe their line? If Pinarayi is really innocent, why doesn't he fight it out and prove it in a court of law, instead of resorting to threats and barbaric actions?

If the case is politically motivated why the party caders are saying that they will face the case politically and not legally. Why your state secy is afraid of the matter going to the courts?. Mr Prakash Karat cannot say that the communists are angels there was a large scale kick back that was involved in the Lavalin case Mr Pinarayi Vijayan along with some big communist leaders are definately involved in the scam . Their own CM is stating that there is a case. So is it supposed to mean that the CM is also part of the plan? We expected atleast a party like CPM which tomtoms about morals and principles stoops to this level. Morals are only for preaching to others and not to self.

The CBI charges against CPM is "politically motivated" because the communists were expected to rule india with an absolute majority in the next election.People were impressed with their performance in the last government.It is their pipe dream that people will believe all this crap.
