Kanpur, July 3: The BJP came down heavily on the UPA government and its Left allies for their respective stand on the Indo-US nuclear deal.

"The Left parties have lost their credibility by dilly-dallying in withdrawing support from the central government. The UPA should not continue with the government even for a single day," BJP President Rajnath Singh said.

Also while terming the Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) and the Samajwadi Party (SP) as the 'B-parties' of Congress, Singh has rubbished off the theories of any political alliance with either of them.

"We will contest the elections independently and we can never even think of joining hands with SP and BSP. They share their loyalties with the Congress and they have dual standards," Singh said while briefing the mediapersons in Kanpur.

Blaming the Congress for inflation, Singh also accused the SP and BSP for price rise in UP. "If the trend continues, no wonder inflation would cross 15 per cent mark. And we have been demanding the central government to release a white paper in this context, but to no avail," Singh added.

Commenting on the Amarnath shrine board issue, Singh said, "its a national issue and we will raise it in all our political gatherings. J&K government should immediately return the land to Amarnath shrine board as sentiments of crores of Hindus are attached to the issue."
