Pune, March 16 The Institute of Business Management, run by the Dhole-Patil Education Society, recently held a lifestyle management seminar as part of the Women’s Day celebrations. The seminar began with a Bharatnatyam dance performed by a young and dynamic Nitika Hardikar follower of Suchita Bhide Chapekar. She depicted vibrant colours of Goddess Parvati. The guests of the day, Dr Sumedha Bhosale, health management expert and Zoha Tapia, top 5 finaliss of Miss India contest 2007, were felicitated by Kamal Dhole-Patil, MLA and Gauri Dhole-Patil, director, Dhole-Patil Education Society's Institute of Business Management respectively.

The felicitation was done with small plants instead of flowers or bouquets as the Dhole-Patil Education Society is of the strong belief that women are born to nurture their fellow beings and spread love, tenderness and affection. Another essential aspect of gifting a plant was to take up steps in combating the serious issue of global warming and thus rendering a small contribution to the society, stated a press release.

Dr Bhosale, who has many feathers in her cap, mesmerised the audience by her slide show. She delivered a lecture on how one can manage his life-style in the fast geared metropolitan culture.

The session ended by open question-answer forum. The students of the institute interviewed women who have carved their own niche. The Dhole-Patil Education Society took the opportunity to felicitate five women who have been successful in their areas of interest. Asha Gurjar in Sanskrit and author of Sanskrit dictonary, Deepali Pednekar and Ulka Kalaskar, deputy, chief accountant, PMC and Sapkal, the owner and runner of orphanges, were felicitated with the plants. Gauri Dhole-Patil, director, took the initiative to felicitate the "unknown talent."
