Preity zinta

New Delhi Preity Zinta is known to be a passionate and fiery person and it is this aspect of her which has made her a success in films and one of the most well-known faces of Bollywood.

So when Preity entered the IPL fray and bought the Kings XI Punjab team, everyone knew she’d bring the same passion to cricket as well. She was always on hand to motivate her team and to boost their confidence. Now the actress wants to give budding cricketers a chance to showcase their talents.

Her Kings XI Punjab will hold a cricket seminar and tournament in Chandigarh and Mohali. The aim of the seminar is to organise a T-20 tournament between the teams of Punjab, Haryana, Himachal Pradesh and J&K.

Says Preity about this venture, “My aim is to promote cricket at the grass-root level and to nurture new talent. I also want everyone involved to have fun.”
