Loud explosion heard in Kabul: Witnesses

Kabul A loud explosion was heard in the Afghan capital Kabul on Tuesday, witnesses said. The cause of the blast was unclear.

The explosion happened shortly before President Hamid Karzai began a speech to open the fourth session of the Afghan parliament in Kabul.
