Baci

Chocolates, olives, lobsters and garlic are supposedly aphrodisiacs, or foods guaranteed to get you wild with desire, or madly reckless. Now Baci, the Italian restaurant cafe in Sunder Nagar, has cleverly designed an aphrodisiac meal for Valentine’s Day. Try their prawn and lobster bisque or bite into a scrumptuous crepe filled with asparagus and topped with a cocoa-honey sauce, as a live music band performs in the background. Even if the aphrodisiacs in the meal don’t get you going, satisfaction from the meal is more or less guaranteed.

Price: Rs 2500 plus taxes for a couple

Timing: 12.30-3.30 pm lunch and 7.30 -11.30 pm dinner

For reservation, call 41507445

Blanco

Blanco at Khan Market has an interesting offering for lovebirds. Their five-course multi-cuisine meal, Amore Te Amo, is served in one plate for lovers. The theme is love beyond boundaries as the Spanish title, which means ‘Love, I love you’ suggests. While love songs from various countries will be played in the background, there are also surprise offerings for the guests on the D- Day.

Azurro

Chef Shrivant Rajgharia of Azurro Bar and Kitchen at PVR Saket gives you a reprieve from the meat options and whips up a delicate smoked salmon crepe instead. There’s a fennel and saffron risotto and a fresh rocket and almond salad to go with it. But the best part of the deal comes with the dessert: the Love Pot. It’s a rich chocolate and Bailey’s fondeau, which will leave you craving for a second helping. The meal comes with a complimentary glass of wine.

Price: Rs 2200 plus taxes for a couple

Timing: Noon to 11 pm

For reservation, call: 41664274 / 41664275

Ivy

Ivy, the resto-bar at New Friends Colony, has an option for an open menu or a special four-course aphrodisiac meal. There are loads of chocolates and wines and champagnes to choose from in the open menu. Entry is restricted only to couples on V-Day. If you would rather go for the open menu and stay back post 10.30 pm, then you can groove to DJ Leon’s beats and get a free cherry vodka for the lady.

For the main course, dig into their paprika crepes or chicken pancetta and mushrooms served with linguini. Top it with lemon cheese cake, served with strawberries and cream or a freshly baked chocolate cake, to satiate your sweet tooth.
