M&M November sales down by 41%

New Delhi, December 1: Auto major Mahindra & Mahindra reported a 41.04 per cent decline in its total automotive sales in November at 10,955 units compared with 18,583 units in the corresponding period last year.

Domestic sales during the month stood at 10,430 units, against 17,844 units last year, down 41.55 per cent, the company said in a statement.

Exports during the month stood at 525 units, against 739 units in the same month last year, down 28.96 per cent. Sales of utility vehicles were down 40.59 per cent at 7,523 units, against 12,662 units in the year-ago period.

Three-wheelers sales recorded a decline of 17.94 per cent at 2,305 units, against 2,809 units in the corresponding period last year.

Mahindra-Renault's sedan 'Logan' recorded an over five- fold decrease at 300 units in November this year as compared to 1,561 units in the same month last year.
