"Gandhi is the martyr who has performed the real Jihad.
As he taught us to first fight with one's ego and win, but never with guns," said Sheika Cemalnur Sargut, who heads the Istanbul branch of TURKKAD,the Turkish Women's cultural Association.
Drawing comparisons between a Haji and the Mahatma, Sargut said," Mahatma Gandhi is dressed exactly like one performing Haj. Muslims wear single unstiched clothing 'ihram' while performing Haj. This is a proof that he is always before Allah. He teaches real Islam", she adds.
Sargut is one of the main speakers of 'The World Council of Women Spiritual Leaders' summit which is going on in Jaipur from March 6-10.
Women leaders cutting across faiths from over 50 countries have gathered in Jaipur to deliberate on various global issues and encourage women leadership.
The delegates from countries like Pakistan, Afghanistan, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Sudan, Palestine, Nepal, Tibet, Japan, United States and Afghanistan among others will be present at the event.
Talking about the growing intolerance and suspicion against Muslims and rise of Islamic militancy. Sargut said that "It is unfortunate that the West is trying to project Muslims as using violence, there are lots of so called Jihadi groups in Christianity ready to kill Muslims."

I agree that there are many christian groups also indulging in violence against muslims. Muslims and christians fought many wars in the middle ages. All those wars were religious wars.However, in the modern era, while christian groups have concentrated their activities on cultural violence of conversions and destroying the cultural bases of people around the world(not just muslims), most of the physical violence is coming from muslim groups. That has given Islam a bad name. Peaceful and truly religious muslims should stop this muslim violence against the rest of the world to save the good name of Islam. Even the word jihad has been given a violent connotation by the muslim groups indulging in worldwide violence. Calling Mahatma a jihadi in that context seemed odd, but the true purpose and meaning of jihad needs to be explained and followed in practice to save the good meaning of jihad. The international meet, hopefully will be able to assist in that direction. Turkish women's cultural Association needs to be congratulated for their contribution in that direction.
Commenting on the dress of Gandhiji as Haji makes one wonder on the poor knowledge of the lady from Turkey. The dress is a perfect example of a Devout Hindu , who when entering a temple ( men) has to wear only a dhoti. This practice is in Kerala even today. In fact on my world tour , I could see many Hare Krishnaites wearing this dress and dancing with devotion. This ancient Indian and Sanatan Dharmas practice. The lady should do her homework properly

Surely, MK Gandhi was a true Jihadi. His Jihad was against kafir Hindus, he managed to butcher through his Jihadi brigades millions of Hindus. He is the father of Pakistan, he founded that Jihadi state. Gandhi is history, we are puting him in dustbins forever.

we have never heard any jihadi group in christians ready to kill muslims.this is a total lie.but i criticise xtian-missionaries always hungary to convert poor ppls by deciet. And about Islam-Quran-Hadith-Jihad it is less said,the better.
