New Delhi Model-actress Mahek Chahal has been accused of being Salman Khan's favoured contestant on the current season of 'Bigg Boss' but her brother has come to her rescue rubbishing the reports.

Born and brought up in Norway, the 32-year-old actress' family too came under attack from supporters of her co-contestants on the reality show.

“Obviously all these rumours are false and baseless. They don't even make any sense and they sound funny to me. Mahek, on her own, left Norway 10 years ago so that she could make a career for herself in Bollywood. Even my elder sister has left Norway to join Mahek in the finale of Bigg Boss and I will be returning to the country on the final day,” her bother, Vikramjit Chahal, said in a statement.

He also added that the family won't keep quiet anymore.

“Also when it comes to my parents, Mahek has always had contact with her family and was there with dad till his last day. All the relatives and family vote for her and support her. The people spreading these rumours are ones who who can't mind their own business and let others live and be successful in life,” he said.
