External Affairs Minister Pranab Mukherjee said that Pakistan's self-imposed deadline of completing its preliminary investigation into Mumbai attacks had been reached long ago and India was waiting for Islamabad's response to the dossier that had been provided to it.
"We did not give them any deadline. They fixed their own deadline. We would like to see them complying with it," Mukherjee told reporters on Thursday.
Pakistan had given 10 days to its three-member team of Federal Investigating Agency to look into the information given by India in its dossier on Mumbai attacks. That 10-day deadline had expired on January 27. On Wednesday, Pakistan President Asif Ali Zardari said his government will announce the results of the investigations in another two to three days.
Mukherjee said that India expected Pakistan to act fast on its commitments.
Sources said that Pakistan was likely to brief diplomats in Islamabad about the findings of its investigations before making it public. In fact, the process of briefing has already started with Zardari meeting the ambassadors of a few European countries, a couple of day ago.
Meanwhile, the police in Lahore have claimed that they had arrested three "terrorists with connections to India's external intelligence agency RAW". The three were said to have carried out a bomb blast in 2006. Lahore police chief Pervaiz Rathore was quoted by Pakistani media as saying that the three arrested people had confessed to their connections with the RAW. Rathore said the three had admitted that they had traveled to India seven times and received training from the RAW operatives in Delhi and Amritsar. A large quantity of explosives, remote controlled bombs, maps, and drawings of sensitive installations were said to have been found from their possession.

It is important that Pak makes the report public but if they don't do it, India should make this report from Pak public for Both indians and Pak's to see.

Hey,If you caught some one then it is pakistani in any case whether ur media and retired generals were saying that whole matter is ambiguous,, But if we caught ur agents , we are lier, Very nice, why dont you say that RAW dont exist, why dont you say that if however RAW exist then too it is not performing any operation and mission in pakistan.. Then wht is RAW for? ur RAW is doing terrorist activities in Pakistan,, dont forget "Sarabjit Singh" who commited that he is a RAW agent and involved in bomb attacks... Now just shutup and clear ur own country from terrorist agency "RAW"

This was to to be expected. So what now and where does that leave the Indian Government. Indian have scored a diplomatic own goal. Pakisatn on the other hand are playing a diplomatic double game with both India and the USA.
Pakistan so called preliminary findings and the contents that they arrested three terrorists with link to RAW, shows that PAKISTAN nothing but a whole group of liers and stupid idiots.Its nothing to do with Congress or BJP, people should realise the fact that PAKISTAN, the country is with culprits and politicians are trying to cheat for the purpose of their own safety in peril at the hands of pakistan homegrown terrorists. This is the face and statement by USA President Barack Obama has reiterated the fact that PAKISTAN AND AFKANISTAN is the home ground for the dangerous militants threatening the safety of the entire world countries. If London is accomodating Pakistan to bring-up a drama to be conducted at their country that it means London is vying for its economic growth or trying to get help from Pakistan to safeguard london safety ( get interligence report from pakistan about militant activities against Britain).
India cant create the terror situsion in Pak because there are almost no hindus compared to Muslims in india.These muslims fully or partially support Pak terrorism.And btw pak cant do anything untill some people from India wont support him..check situation in Azamghad in UP

I feel like a looser today. Dont know about other fellow Indians! A nation creates a mayhem in our country, literally a death parade and we let them go so easily. Diplomacy is fine, but is that the only survival strategy we are left with. I disagree and I am shell shocked, how a sovereign nation let go its enemy like this. Few days back we celebrated Republic day, was that just a means to get a holiday. Pakistan is still in a denial mode, its a nation where the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is upto. And we still expect transparency from that nation, how foolish !! They are not going to give us any verifiable proof that they have done anything to book the perpetrators. How can we trust a nation who is not able to take control of its own backyard ? Who itself propagates terrorism ? If at all we want that our countrymen should be safe then we have to act, we should strenthen ourselves and prepare ourselves for any eventuality. India should act now.
