Prasad, the former Railway Minister who was not preferred by the Congress leadership in the new government, also accused her of neglecting Bihar in the budget.
In a combative mood, Prasad said he was not bothered by the Minister's declaration of coming out with a white paper on the organisational, operational and financial situation and performance of Railways in the past five years when Prasad was at the helm.
"This is not an embarrassment (that a white paper is coming out). Let her bring out white paper. I am not bothered," he told reporters after Banerjee presented the rail budget in Lok Sabha.
"Is this a budget? She has just read out what I had announced during my stint...She suffers from a complex," he said.
Prasad claimed there was "nothing new" in the budget and that she had just read out what he had prepared during his stint. "She has used my achievements as a base to build her vision," he said.

To think Mr. Lalu only can present a "super" railway budget is ridiculous. This country has far too many experts in any field. Lalu's unsavoury remarks on Ms. Mamta's budget amounts to dog-in-manger policy.
It will be stupid of any one to assume that Ms.Banerjee will present a Railway budget for the year 2009-2010, which would please everyone. It is hardly two to three months,since she has taken over the all important portfolio
When we learn what is going on in the parliament even during budget sessions, we do not find the "spirit of work for the nation" among those holding responsible portfolios. It's just politics and politics; DIRTY all along!
NO, IT IS LALU WHO HAS A COMPLEX. HE CANNOT KEEP HIS MOUTH SHUT AS HE DOES NOT REALISE THAT HE IS NO LONGER IN POWER. HE KEEPS ON MAKING STUPID REMARKS WHICH MAKES HIM LOOK LIKE A JOKER!
It would have been more graceful and appropriate had Lalu maintained silence as the ex-Railways Minister instead of making unnecessary and avoidable comments on his successor's budget speech. If Lalu was allowed to give importance to Bihar for five years, he should now allow Mamata also to give importance to her region even if the fact is that she has proposed viable measures to improve the condition of amenities and travel all over the country.Lalu should graciously accept that the new Railway minister has tried to build upon his achievements for the good of the people.
By this comment, Lalu accepts that he too had build on the good railway governance by Nitish Kumar during the NDA rule.
