Man tears air hostess’s uniform, tries to embrace her

Kolkata, July 23: An Indian passenger who allegedly tore the uniform of an air hostess and tried to embrace her during a Bangkok-Kolkata flight of Jet Airways on Wednesday was arrested, the police said.

The incident happened as the aircraft was about to touch down at the NSC Bose International Airport, police said.

Air staff and passengers of the flight overpowered the man, identified as Dinesh Gupta, a resident of Kolkata.

Gupta was handed over to the police and was arrested on the charge of molestation.

He will be produced in court on Thursday.
