Maoists Violence by CSM on 30 May 2010

No one seems to know what to do with the Maoists. The politicians, state security, the army, navy and the defense forces, all appear to be dumbfounded while the Maoists terrorism continues racking misery, death and meaningless violence on mostly poor and helpless innocents. It is high time that the citizens of India demand action from the Union Government. The might of the Indian armed forces need to brought to bear upon these terrorists who have no compunction causing death and destruction to others. Perhaps the nation need to outsource this job to the Sri Lankan armed forces if the Indian security system does not have stomach to deal with it.

Maoists Insurgency by Srikanth on 30 May 2010

The west bengal blind obsession with communist policies continues to backfire strongly. First the state has lost its development focus and attraction and has been relegated to a slum. Second the people continue to be treated like beggars. Third it is difficult to travel across the state. The hackneyed and devastating thought processes of the state politicians and intellectuals as well as center's apathy and impotence to act properly is adding to this. I do not see if we still need to deliberate as to what our action should be against maoists. There should be no thoughts that we need to eliminate them. In case we agree to this, the action plans become quite clear. West Bengal will fade into oblivion with no industrialists or educated entrepreneur willing to work out of that state. It is high time the state and center acted. And sternly at that. With clear results and gameplan in mind.

Finally India is learning the anger of Chinis and Mao by Great Chini Ruler Mao on 29 May 2010

Finally India is learning the anger of Chinis and Mao and should immediately ask for forgiveness from the mighty superpower Chin. Prottiba Pottyl is visiting Chin and has been told to hand over Dalai Lama. If India wants to save from the great anger of superleader Mao and superpower Chin they should give all the land Chin is asking and will ask in future, along with people. The land India must give must first be vacated by moving the people living their southward because superpower Chin and superleader Mao never wanted to remove people from their culture, they only wanted that land. Some people who are properly educated and are hence already comrades and communists can remain, and continue to establish Chini rule in remaining India slowly. Great nations Puskkitan and USA will help superpower Chin in this noble endeavour.

Human rights by Harry Gill on 29 May 2010

Train crash news is heartbreaking. Who so ever caused it deserves severe punishment. But to find who is responsible need factual investigation. So far in media reports all you see is sickening blame game. Not even one single report bother to mention the train schedule , time table the previous train had passed on those rail tracks. Naxalites do have very serious political agenda to capture political power and serious intellectuals are involved in the movement. One such reckless episode can derail their movement for years to come. Indian Govt , its leadership have no credibility. Finding two posters and blaming naxalites is not based on facts but cheap evasive politics.

Maoist carnage. by a.p.misra. on 29 May 2010

Traveling by Air, Rail & Road has become very difficult in India due to various activities of terrorists, maoists & naxalites. There are so called sympathizers of these people who are least bothered for the life of innocent citizens. The govt. has to take stern measures for safety of its citizens who are now thinking twice before venturing out.

Push back evil and bring good to the fore-terror,sabotage by Ramaswami Kumar on 29 May 2010

Unfortunately the interested parties do not seem to be interested in the welfare of themselves which means any action that they do must uplift the poorest of the poor. Otherwise they must be duly made accountable for their actions. This is the meaning of the human rights people now advocating the abandonment of the cost benefit approach which makes the condition of the poorest of the poor worse in favour of a policy that always benefits the poorest of the poor! There is nothing more tragic than ignorant action(See how familiarity breeds contempt for perfect murder engineered by uranium mines or GMOs). This holds for all the stakeholders and others who have missed the boat. Given this and the abject condition of democracy in our country we must once again revamp the characteristics of our way of living and governing so truth triumphs NOW! Examples are the way the media exposed governance in the Mangalore crash and the tehelka expose of mobile tower dangers. People must arise and fight.

consensous by Tapan Mukherjee on 29 May 2010

The train accident at Midnapore calls for national concentous as to how this maoist menace can be crushed.Once it is decided the security forces should be given full power without interferance from any political leader.

We nned to suspect the Marxist role in the sabotage. by Anand on 29 May 2010

How can the media and govt come to the conclusion that the derailement is a maoist crime before the investigations are intiated ? Since the incident happened in W Bengal a communist domain for decades and there is a panchayat election right now and state election in next year ,we have to see the diabolic design of the marxist govt to put the blame on Maoist as they are gaining ground in entire North eastern states and there is a ground swelling support for the Maoist cause .Maoists are also human beings and while any violence has to be condemned ,we have to understand the root cause of violence as the present movement is against exploitation of the mineral wealth ,depriving the tribals livelihood and converting the entire rural agricultural lands by corporate mafias and land mafias into industrial area in the name of development. In the name of eco tourism forests are vanishing very fast and tribals whodepend on forest for their livelihood are forced to look for other ways to keep alive

If your house gets burgled, whom do u suspect? by Dheeraj on 29 May 2010

U don't need to be a sherlock holmes to draw some conclusions. Look at the news- Middle level leaders of CPI(maoist) have been speaking they wished to sabotage the goods train and inadvertently caught the express. Its nolonger tribals at the forefront but blood-drunk goons who run the show. Maoists are also humans, but so were the 1,000 odd people they have slaughtered. Afzal guru is also a 'human', so were the plotters of umpteen mumbai bombings who also felt wronged by indian state. Do the ends justify the means?

Sooner the better by John on 29 May 2010

If the central government does not take an immediate step to have a full scale land and air operation to wipe out these Chinese puppets, it will be too late to do anything up on this. They will destroy all the growth and prosperity that we see around us for the best interest of China.

RED BARBARISM by Prof. Ramesh Sinha on 29 May 2010

The rail track blast by Maoists in Midenapore district of WB indicates their deviation from the cause they stood for. Killing of innocent persons in such kind of inhuman mishap is barbaric and greatly condemnable. They should rather exert all force to fight out cross border terrorism in the larger interest of fellow countrymen.

GOVERNMENT FEED THE PEOPLE TO THE TERROR . by CITIZEN OF INDIA on 29 May 2010

I think mr .p.chidambaram (gay minister-showing soft corner to terror maoists ) needs to resign , hello chidamabram howmany more people wants to die for your useless statement MR.P.M WHAT YOU ARE DOING , USE MILITARY AND WIPETHEM OUT . OTHERWISE PEOPLE WILL SEE THE DIVIDED INDIA, BEFORE YOUR P.M PERIOD IS OVER. ON WEEKLY BASIS YOU AND YOUR GOVERNMENT SENDING CONDOLEMNCE FOR INNOCENT PEOPLE DEATH .READERS CAN EXPECT MORE CONDOLENCE MESSAGE IN FUTURE FROM THIS GAYS . IMMEDIATELY SEND MILITARY THERE OR RESIGN .I REALLY DEVASTED FOR INNOCENTPEOPLE WHO DIED IN THE PEOPLE MASSACARE BY RUTHLESS MAOIST.AND MOST DEVASTED IS THE PEOPLE WHO ELECTED THIS GOVERMENT COSTING THIER VOTES AND LOSING THEIR LIVES . MAY GOD (ONLY CAN )BLESS INDIA .

Maoists by karan on 29 May 2010

What military can do . This is not a conventional war. Maoists use guerilla tactics. India's CRPF was made specifically for counter insurgency and its the world's largest paramilitary force and see how its men got massacred in the hands of maoists. Even using military cannot solve this problem.Though I am against the killing of civilians I am in support of these maoists because India's upper class has discriminated a lot against lower class people and now its their time to pay back.

terrorism has no religion by Vikram Bhagat on 29 May 2010

We were so lost in lamenting the jehadi/muslim terrorism that we forgot that in fact terrorism has no religion. Maiwadi terorists, Naxalite terrorists, sanatan , Abhinav Bharat, RSS bajrang dal etc are the common names of Hindu terrorists organisations. Even RSS was also enlisted among 25 dreadliest terrorists organisations of world by Terrorism Research Centre (TRC) of America few years back.. Surely army action shall not be done against naxalite, Maowadi terrorists, UFLA and Terrorist of sangh pariwar organisation because we have two yardsticks for minnority and minority terror

Inhuman Act by cowards by H.R. Sreepada Bhagi on 29 May 2010

Continued atrocities & terrorism by the naxals should be condemned in strong terms & Central & State Governments should not waste a day in construction a strategy to win the confidence of the poor people in the naxal-hit areas and crush the naxals. Dilly-dallying by Central & State governments should be blamed for yesterdays tragedy. Politicians care a shit for the lives of the innocent citizens of the country. The PM, HM & the state CMs are shameless people and have no moral authority to occupy their respective chairs. The spend years in talking & do nothing to address the real problem. Unless the go in depth & address the root cause of the problem, this menace will grow & will not end. A multi-pronged strategy is the need of the hour. People in power should come out of AC rooms and lead the troops in the field. Unfortunately, they like to spend time with English media & waste time in offering explanation, instead of taking time to act. NAXALS ARE COWARDS.

Maoist carnage: Toll in train derailment rises to 98 by M.L.Raja on 29 May 2010

Call to Maoist, If you have the real guts to fight against the Government, make an official announcement and fight in the fore coming elections and kindly serve to the needs of the public. You are also considered as Indians at any means and it is not the way to kill the innocents. India is for all and you should fight against the politicians only by their way. You have the power to destroy/kill the people, please think whether you have the power to bring back the dead one? Really if you want to serve the nation come out from your coward act and fight for the betterment of the nation. If you keep on making mistakes and taking the law in your hand only punishment level will increase and will create a very bad opinion on you, Regards M.L.Raja from Abu-Dhabi

Action by K.R.Sivaraman on 29 May 2010

Nobody tolerate this. If anybody who supports take action and take military action otherwise another outfit will start dominate.Sri Gill's action was/is the best

Stop being cowards. by Muhammad on 29 May 2010

Well done Congress govt. If you fools are not able to deal with Maoists then resign and let a Govt form to deal with this menace. How many more people must die? Sonia Gandhi thinks she has got a divine right to play with Indian lives because she is a foreigner and her husband was victim to terrorism. For how much longer are we going to be known as a soft state with software nerds and candle lighting freaks. It is time for an eye for an eye. Since independence the Gandhi non-violence movement has given an opportunity for cowards to hide behind. If India is to be a responsible superpower then this Gandhi non-violence nonsense has to be shrugged off. The British were civilized but the Maoists and Islamic terrorists are not, hence Non-violence/Ahimsa will not work with them. Stop being cowards and fight. Stop wasting time in temples and doing irrelevant jobs which can barely feed yourself. Protest against this govt and bring them down.
