Spending Rs 200 million on rally shows politicians are not conscious of the problems of poor people and country and shows only selfishness to get votes and enjoy power. Though Mayawati is called herself Dalit and downrodden but all her actions and style are like Billionaires and she spend lavishly for wasteful purposes whereas she do not care the common public of UP as the State is running with various acute problems. Ofcourse people gave their mandate to her by rejecting Congress. The way UP chief minister Smt. mayawathi plans to spend 20 Crores for the 25th anniversary of the formation of BSP tells us the pathatic state of the unaccountability in Indian Politics. True, 25 years ago when Kansi Ram founded BSP, no one imagined it to wrest power in UP any time soon. Mayawati deserves credit for developing BSP into a formidable force in UP and establishing its presence in other states. Soon this party could become a force in other states too. With the Uncertinity in Indian Politics,and the emergence of Regional Parties and divisive forces anything could happen in Indian Politics. It wont be a surprise if Smt. mayawati becomes PM or deputy Pm within the next decade. Such a situation could be dangerous to the country and its democratic framework. She has demonstrated dictatorial traits repeatedly, yet people of UP chose to re-elect her. At the state level such leaders could be contained. But if they reach at the center, they could prove to be too dangerous.

wht ever she is doing is nt in favour of our country. we never think only about ourselve we have need to be supported fr our country. w havnt need to be spent this much huge ammount. becase its nt only ur money its allover country is giving fr our development. thn we should nt be selfish.

From where is the money coming? The answer is simple donation and tax payers money. When the country is facing food shortages and 2 million children dying ( should be the weakest Dalits and others ) it is very shameful parties trying to protect Dalits are cheating people. Supreme court should come heavily on all parties spending public money. Also supreme court should ban political parties and governments from organizing public fuctions and thereby dispruting traffic and cause huge problems for the public. They have no right. Yesterday this happened in Tamilnadu -0 organized by DMK and Congress. The main artery of Chennai was chocked for 5 hours putting common people to huge hardships. Are they elected leaders or robbers.

Mayawati has already announced relief to stemped victims. Why are u misguiding?

And shamefully have no funds for hapless victims of stampede families!

Mayawati you should wake up before people force you to do so. What are the Dalits & the downtrodden getting out of this sham that you are enacting on the silver jubilee of BSP. Whose money do you think are you spending. The Indian Government must do soemthing about the gross misuse of public funds that is happening with impunity in U.P.

Maya is doing what people want. If Congress boasts that goverment at center is doing beacuse people has given them the mandate, therefore why single out Maya's extravaganza?

Why doesn't the reporter and newspaper focus on the Gandhi family and the crores it spends on it's rallies. What about coverage on how it is actively saving the mass murderers of Sikhs in 1984?

The present leader's in the country are reminding the past glory of the Emperore's in lavish expenditure on there status , security and in the present scenario now by the leaders on there Political Parties . The opposition in Uttar Pardesh has clearly pointed on the expenditure of the State Government on sponsoring funds for the historic rally of Bahujan Samaj Party . As the people who pay in shape of Taxes to the the Government are in dilemna that after collection of revenue the funds are to be dispersed for the development of the State , basic civic ameneties , education , Health etc . The expenditure on the rally in future can be object by comptroller Auditor General of India in public Interest in regard to the expenditure on Public rallies burdning the State exchequer .
