Maytas accepts resignations of 3 directors

Mumbai Maytas Infra board has accepted resignations of three directors at a meeting on Friday, the infrastructure firm said in a statement to stock exchanges over the weekend.

C.S. Bansal, R.C. Sinha and P.K. Madhav have resigned from the board but Bansal continues to hold the position of President- Transportation and Oil & Gas Sector, the company said.

B Narasimha Rao has been appointed as additional director with effect from Jan 30, it added.

Sinha, who was chairman and Madhav, chief executive of the Satyam-linked construction company, had resigned in January.

R.P. Raju, independent director, and B. Teja Raju, vice chairman, continue on the board, according to the website of Maytas Infra.

Maytas Infra is founded by the family of Ramalinga Raju, former chairman of fraud-hit Satyam Computer Services.
