24-year-old Eesh Chaudhary bags the winning title & is now set to compete for 'Mr India'

All of us dream but there are those who believe in waking up, striving hard and turning those dreams into reality. It's to the latter group that Eesh Chaudhary is proud to belong. The 24-year-old has just bagged the title of Mr Chandigarh 2009 at a contest organised by the Chandigarh Institute of Performing Arts (CIPA). "I also bagged the title of Mr Best Personality," beams Chaudhary, a resident of Panchkula's Sector 6. Interestingly, he's a successful businessman who started working young but always aspired to be a model. "After I finished my MBA, I decided to devote time to modelling since I really wanted to walk the ramp," shares Eesh who started out a year and a half back. Balancing work and his passion wasn't really a cakewalk but Eesh decided to stick to his plans. "I also have an identical twin Ashish who was supportive of my decision to take time-out for modelling," tells the youngster who signed up for the Mr Chandigarh contest last year as well. "I didn't win anything but my mother who is very inspiring pushed me to work harder to achieve my goal," Eesh mentions. This year he gave it his best shot and emerged victorious at the contest held this Saturday, June 27. "It felt really good. I am really proud of my city and it's a great feeling to represent it," smiles the model who is now seriously eyeing a second career in the profession. "I have made it to the Mr India 2009 contest to be held in Delhi on July 4," informs Eesh who is working hard to be in shape for the same. Now that he's rolling on full steam ahead, will Mumbai be his next destination, we quiz the GCM-11 alumnus. "As far as modelling goes, I will look at bagging assignments such as the fashion weeks," answers the model as he goes on to add, "I would also want to represent my City Beautiful in future contests." But he's not ruling out trying his hands at acting. "The world is shrinking and no longer do you have to slog it out in Mumbai to kick-start an acting career. I'll look at work assignments closer home," signs off Eesh. All the best for that!
