CBSE chairman, interacts with the staff members of GIIS

Ashok Ganguly, chairman CBSE visited the Global Indian International School, Pimpri and interacted with the teachers of the school. He addressed the teachers of the school and stressed on the importance of teachers as visionaries of the future, guides and facilitators for the students of the 21 st century. He wanted the teachers to be at par with other professionals and to imbibe HOTS, the Higher Order Thinking Skills in the Planning and execution of Pedagogy. "The usage of negative words by the teachers must be completely done away with and in its place the use of highly motivating and positive words needs to be emphasized. The 3 ‘C's of comparison, competition and compulsion must be replaced with compassion, collaboration and choice", he said.

Free medical workshop

Dr Rupesh Bhosale and Dr Kaveri Bhosale conducted a free medical workshop at Timber Bhavan, Bhavani Peth recently. Nearly 300 persons- men , women and children attended the medical workshop. The couple offered free medical services and free medicines stated a press note.
