Missing CA found dead

Kolkata, February 28 Police have recovered the body of 22-year-old chartered accountancy student Manish Agarwal who went missing since February 21.

The body, which had lacerations and strangulation marks on the neck, was found in Tiljala on Thursday by locals near the office of Bengali daily Bartaman, police said.

Agarwal was doing his articleship at a CA firm Alpha International on Camac Street. His parents lodged a complaint after he failed to return to his Dum Dum residence “The body was dumped there at least three to four days ago. It was identified as Agarwal’s by his driving licence. The family said they had no enemies and were not aware if Agarwal had any,” said Jawed Shamim, DC (DD).
