Last evening, the government ordered transfer of 47 HP Police Service officers (HPS), most of them additional SPs and DSPs in the districts. The officers include Additional SP, Chamba, Saju Ram Rana, who has been posted as Additional SP, Solan, while Rajender Singh Bhatia, Additional SP, Shimla, has been transferred as Additional SP (Railway and Traffic), Shimla.

Ajay Bodh, Solan ASP, has been transferred and posted as ASP, Second Indian Reserve Battalion, Sakoh, while Virender Sharma, ASP, Third Battalion Pandoh, has been posted as ASP, CID and Crime, at Shimla. Ravinder Kumar Sharma, Theog Sub-Divisional Police Officer (SDPO), would be the new ASP, Third Battalion, Pandoh, while Mohinder Singh, Nahan DSP, has been transferred as Shimla ASP.
