New Delhi Actor Abhishek Bachchan says boxer Muhammad Ali is a great inspiration

Bachchan, 35, whose last outing was action film 'Players', said he was introduced to Ali by his father when he was a kid.

"Muhamed Ali. The greatest! My father introduced me to this giant in sports when I was a child. A true inspiration.

"Not just because he was a great boxer and sportsman but because he taught the world how to believe in what you stand for and...," Bachchan posted on Twitter on the occasion of Ali's 70th birthday.

Ali is a former professional boxer, philanthropist and social activist. Famous for his witty one-liners , he is considered a cultural icon.
