Mumbai: 4 killed, 43 hurt in industrial estate blaze

Mumbai, March 17: Four persons were killed and 43 injured in a major fire that broke out in an industrial estate in central Mumbai today, fire brigade officials said.

The fire broke out in the Retiwala industrial estate in the Byculla area at around 3:30 pm, they said.

Of the 43 persons injured in the fire, one is in serious condition while others have received minor burns, Dean of J J Hospital P Shingare told PTI.

Fire fighting operations are still on, fire officials said.
