New Delhi, February 16: In a sharp attack on President Pervez Musharraf, former Pakistan Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif has alleged that the former has lost his ‘balance’ and will have to leave power sooner or later.

"He has to leave, he has to leave sooner or later because he will not win this battle," Sharif told a TV channel.

Asked who all according to him were with Musharraf currently, the former Pakistani premier said, "I don't think anybody is with him now in this country".

"Every time he comes on television and says that if this happens, I will do this. If that happens, I will do that and threatens people with dire consequences," he said.

"I think he has lost his balance," Sharif, who spent several years in exile after the coup by Musharraf, said.

On how he can become the Prime Minister as he has not filed his nomination papers, he said, "I can still become the PM without being member of the Parliament for six months and get elected later".

However, he added, "I am not looking for any position in the government. My primary objective is to put the country back on the clock and restore the Constitution, restore the judges and rebuild the institutions of the country".

Pakistan will hold general elections on Monday.

Mush has lost its balance of mind by raj shanti on 17 Feb 2008

I fully agree with Nawaz Sharif that Parvez Musharraf has lost is mental balance. The day he joined the Americans on their war on terror bandwagon he had lost his balance. The history speaks itself which leader of the country was not doomed by playing into their hands allowing them to dictate and take the control of their country. Take the case of Saddam Hussain, Zia Ul Haq etc who supported them during the war against the Soviet Union and Iran later on to be persecuted and killed later on. Mushrraf will also meet the same fate once American's win over the Taliban's and Iranian supported Militia in Iraq and Afghanistan. They have been casting their dirty eyes on India as well by luring them with civilian nuclear deal etc. Once India allow them to set the dirty foot on Indian soil the real problem will start. It is only that they are not able to indentify a puppet leader or party in India who can tow their line like Musharraf in Pakistan. They tried thru Manmohan singhs congress party but the left parties have read it correctly to save the congress party from getting into some sort of commitment on the nuclear deal. The left parties knew that the moment we sign the deal with them on nuclear issue India will come under the scanner of the IAEA inspections and thru that Americans will be able to guage the strenght of India. They very well know that India is going to be the next super power hence to control their march and progress by showing them carrot of Nuclear deal. We Indians are feeling elated that the Americans have chosen us over Pakistan to have a civilian nuclear deal done. But we are all blind towards their hidden agenda of control and stemming the progess march to wards becoming the next super power of the world.

Mush has lost hs balance by Raj on 17 Feb 2008

which dictator ever was balanced? That is the key to a dictator. Mushy knows he will have to be killed and can't go away, he is awaiting an american fatwa to finish him, poor Goerge is unemployed now, so he will have to wait till the next one happens and who knows he may come with a more evil mind and a Mush resurrection for some more years.
