NDTV office attacked, ransacked in Ahmedabad

Ahmedabad, January 19: Protesting against an SMS poll being conducted by NDTV, some members of a Hindu right wing organisation ransacked the private news channel's office on Saturday morning.

"The group ransacked the office, broke office equipment and also assaulted an office assistant," senior cameraperson Pranav Joshi said.

The outfit was protesting against the SMS poll on noted painter M F Husain. Senior police officers were at the NDTV's office and carrying out the investigation.

However, a complaint in this regard was yet to be registered.
