NNF holds nursing quiz at DMCH

Ludhiana, August 24 The Department of Pediatrics at Dayanand Medical College and Hospital, today organised the divisional round of National Neonatology Faculty (NNF) PG and Nursing Quiz.

The quiz was held under the aegis of NNF, Punjab State Branch. Five teams that participated in the quiz, namely PGIMER, Chandigarh; CMC, Ludhiana, DMC, Ludhiana; GMC Patiala and GMC Amritsar.

Professor and Head of Pediatrics at DMCH Dr H S Bains introduced the participants to the audience. He said that such quiz programmmes contribute to the knowledge enhancement of students as they can learn about many new things about the subject through this informal interaction.

Dr. Daljit Singh, Principal & Professor of Pediatrics at DMCH welcomed the audience and extended his best wishes to the participating teams.

He emphasised that the objective for conducting NNF Quiz is to encourage and advance the knowledge, study and practice of the science of neonatology in the country.

The function was inaugurated by secretary of the DMCH Managing Society, Prem Kumar Gupta. Dr Harmesh Singh Bains conducted the quiz for PG students and Dr Sarwinder Singh, president of NNF, Punjab, conducted the nursing quiz. The winners of PG Quiz were Nishath Ahmed and Satvinder from PGIMER, Chandigarh and CMC,Ludhiana team were the winners in nursing section.
