New Delhi, November 30: The Prime Minister's Office scotched speculation about National Security Adviser M K Narayanan quitting in the wake of terror strikes in Mumbai.

"These reports about resignation are wrong. Narayanan continues to be the NSA," a PMO official said while reacting to media reports that he had quit.

M K Narayanan by Ramana Rajgopaul on 01 Dec 2008

M K Narayanan and all other Babus who screw the armed foces, the police and the other para military and intelligence agencies as well as our scientific establishment must now be deputed to the SPG and sent to fight terrorists when they next attack one of our soft targets, as they are bound to. Why send all our under equipped but highly motivated people like those that acted so bravely in Mumbai when these guys are available? Please also arrange to provide the same security arrangements given to our politicians to each citizen who pays for it any way, or withdraw the whole thing and let only those who are willing to live like the other ordinary Indians live, offer to get elected as our MLAs MPs etc.If both these are not acceptable to the present powers, let them publicly announce that the next attack from terrorists should be aimed at our politicians and babus and not at ordinary citizens.
