Its now a year since the Mumbai attacks, and have added one more experience in the history of India, and we have lost many good people who served for the nation and also good citizens and foreigners. We also had the Kargil experiences, there too we lost many good people who served the nation, but only one thing is common, whatever the Govt. have to do in the form of giving compensations to the victims, I doubt its happening in the true spirits. Why so? If its true, thats very shameful. Also we have to make the public more aware about their role how to assist the security forces in case that is very much essential.

Everything was symbolic today. Unfortunately. I cant understand why people are not questioning the arrogance of the politicians who are not concerned about the common man and give stereotyped comments on tv. Where is the systemic improvement which will result in better intelligence and better counteraction. In India unfortunately people in high positions are so full of themselves than importance is not given to developing teams and efficiency. Therefore we are so dependent on individual excellence and not continuous development of our systems. Too much emotion ...but little brain overall. Sad. Very Sad.

The Bombay tragedy a year ago shows how Pakistan is trying to create problem for India by all means. It knows that India can not be bowed to its knees by any military engagement or by any pressure from its boarder on Kashmir issue. The Bombay incidence teaches us that India should pay attention to its broaders withits neighbours and our broader with Pakisthan and other countries should be srtictly controlled so that nobody from our neighbouring comes to India without proper passports.

Such a pity with this imitation of 9/11. All that candle lighting etc. Did anyone do that near rails when they were blown up? The lives of the rich is much more valuable in Mumbai. Just stop all this nonsense. Never heard of any other anniversary rememberances before. Makes me sick.

i am surprised why the goverment is preserving the bodies of those 9 killers? can anyone tell me? usually, any govt would have disposed them by now secretly since pak will never take them back

Local railways are run by the marathi manoos and that is reason there is no improvement. We have President of India is a marathi and now we have CM of Maharashtra who is a marathi. Well then we can see how big headed marathi manoos are? What is the safety of local people in mumbai. The world worst place nto to follow safety rules.

Y r we forgetting serial train blast in mumbai,Y r we forgetting 1993 serial blasts & there r many more to the list. Weren't they more devastating than 26/11. y r we singling out only 26/11,just becos the victims were high profile. Next year ie- on 26/11/2010 people will forget the incident.

If one were to look at 26/11 in retrospect, then two things would stand out: (A) the government apparatus failed miserably and (B) the media (in this case, the electronic media) played its part in a most callous manner. If senior government officials (including senior officers of the Army and Navy) kept giving juicy bites of info (often incorrect at that) to the media to enjoy their 15 seconds of fame, the media itself behaved abominably (barring NDTV, to its credit) by covering the entire rescue mission LIVE ! Not for a moment did these self-proclaimed eyes of the common man think the kind of danger they were putting the brave warriors into. This is true especially of the NSG commandos who rued that in spite of landing on the top of Nariman House from a helicopter, they didnt get any leverage by means of surprise because our media was covering every movement of this elite combat unit! Needless to say, this "LIVE" coverage reached the terrorists as well(and their Pak handlers).

COULD YOU SHOW ONE SINGLE RELATIVE OF THE VICTIMS ATTENDING THIS SO CALLED SOLIDARITY ??? BULLSHIT...

i have seen an advertisment in tv regarding 26/11 attacks by a private mobile company offering their money from the peak time calls to the indian police we have to suspect that this kind of money will set into the hands of police or politicians as we have rottened security system

The cry from those killed in 26/11 will see pakistan destroyed and humiliated.If at all those pakis are Muslims they will immediately stop encouraging all these forces from indulging in all such actions that bring Islam to ridicule.Who wants these jokers in the world its Indias irony that they have the 2nd Largest population of Muslims and have to put up with them.Just look at the way the pakis have repeatedly denied that the attack is a direct result of The State using Terror as a state policy to counter India.Why havent the jokers who organise protests to protest Dec 6 do the same before the pak embassy today.We have pak and the Islamic world ignoring Indias cries of agony.Animals from pak who used religion to attack children as well on 26/11.Why havent congregations not condemed the way Islam is bieng maligned by the very followers of the faith.The Americans have been the main perpetuators by allowing the pakis to get away with murder.Muslims must be prepared for the worst.

No doubt the terrorist attack in Mumbai last year was very bad. But has anybody thought why this "observance of anniversary" of this one alone? The reason is that the perpetrators came from Pakistan. For the secular UPA and media it is inconvenient to observe anniversaries of other terror attacks like Parliament attack, Akshardham attack or the numerous attacks in J & K, because those implicated in those are home-grown Islamic terrorists.

Is it possible we will ever be free of Islamic terrorism- from within and without? It does not look very good. India will have to fight, which clearly they don't like to do.

Last year Raj Thackeray and his Marathi supporters took law into their hands and 10 lakh Hindi speaking people had to flee from Nashik,Thane, and Kalyan. Most of them were beaten up mercilessly and some of them lost their life in the hands of Marathi terrorists. Maharashtra police arrested some miscreants just to show that they are taking action. All the arrested criminals were left unpunished because they were marathis. This is an example how our democracy has been hijacked by Language and Region.

Me Marathi. Mumbai Majhee and all are outsiders. Only marathis should be given jobs without taking exams and everyone on this planet has to respect marathi language and culture.

Congress and Marathis are trying to take political mileage by encashing public emotions. Thackerays goons are already creating havoc in Bombay.
