Chandigarh, March 2 “If India wants to excellence in sports then all sports policies must be focused on the base instead of top of the pyramid” said Prof. Avinash Sidhu former captain of Indian women hockey and volleyball teams, on the valedictory of the national seminar on sports, exercise, health connections in Panjab University. The seminar was organised by the department of physical education. She further emphasised on quality physical education at all levels. Dr D S Brar presented the report which highlighted the deliberations of the three-day seminar.
