Navy, Reliance Industries ‘A’ in quarter-finals

Mumbai, March 1 Defending champions Reliance Industries 'A' and Indian Navy endured strong challenges before advancing to the quarter-finals in the 7th Hikal Cup Corporate Tennis Tournament, at the Bombay Gymkhana on Saturday.

Reliance 'A' were taken the distance after dropping the second tie as they rallied to beat Baskin Robbins 6-3, 3-6, 6-0 in an exciting pre-quarter-finals. Navy faced stiff resistance from Bharat Petroleum before fashioning a 6-2, 3-6, 6-2 win in another pre-quarter-final.

Joining Reliance 'A' and Navy in the last eight were Bank of America and Grand Hotel who won in straight sets.
