Beijing, August 18: National champion paddler Neha Aggarwal's Olympics experience lasted just 34 minutes as she lost to Lay Jiang Fang of Australia in the women's singles preliminary round in Beijing on Monday.

Neha lost to her Australian opponent 12-10, 8-11, 11-13, 8-11, 4-11 to make an early exit from the quadrennial competition.

The Delhi girl took the lead by winning the first game before her opponent bounced back to level the score 1-1.

Neha was leading in the crucial third game but the Indian wilted under pressure to squander the chance to go ahead 2-1.

The third game loss took a toll on Neha who ran out of steam and lost the next two games to end her Olympic campaign.
