BS Yeddyurappa

Bangalore Crisis in Karnataka BJP continued on Tuesday with dissidents persisting with their demand for the removal of Chief Minister B S Yuddyurappa, who said that the party leadership is evolving a "new formula" to end the stalemate.

Pressing their demand, the rebel group claimed the Central leadership had not decided in favour of continuing with Yeddyurappa as Chief Minister.

Tourism Minister Janardhana Reddy, who has been camping in New Delhi, met senior party leader Sushma Swaraj as part of his oust Yeddyurappa campaign.

"In the interest of BJP and the workers in Karnataka, we need a very good leadership in the state. Whatever my stand is, I am not changing," he told reporters in Delhi.

State Revenue Minister Karunakara Reddy, spearheading the campaign along with his brother Janardhana Reddy, described as "lies and creation of the media", reports quoting BJP Chief President Rajnath Singh as saying that Yeddyurappa would continue.

Talking to reporters in Bangalore, he said Singh had not told them about it (continuation of Yeddyurappa) and a decision (on leadership change) could not be taken within a few hours.

When famedfamine family of Devegowda ruled directly or indirectly no one opened their mouth. Be it cheap troubling to NICE project by their family. Why trouble Mr.Yeddurappa who is a god person. A person committed with conviction. You must allow him to do his job. He is not a day time looter of Karnataka and Andhrapradesh by using the fences at the cost of both the states. Yeddurappa is a god fearing person he will rule the rest of the term. let Reddy take care of their business and their health. Their audacity will take toll on them

MY FOOT, ITIS ASTROLOGY by R Sundar on 05 Nov 2009

Advani who was so keen to become PM took the help of Astrologers to know before hand the fall of UPA Government. They said that the UPA would fall in 2005. Nothing happened. Again they said that it will fall in 2007, nothing happened. Finally in 2009, the Astrologers were feeding Advani that his stars are good and that he would become PM in the ensuing elections. The BJP bit the dust and now once again it seems its desperate supporters have fallen to Astrology. The BJP's downfall is not due to its bad stars, but due to its sheer incompetence, arrogance and unbridled corruption.

BJP doomed by shivanand on 03 Nov 2009

I think BJP is on the verge of collapse in karnataka also. They came to power promising Gujarat like development. 24 hour power and all in the name of farmer. But nothing of great developmental activities seen. Now whoever will be in power till next election, will be looking for making money. No developmental works takes place. All will be running for making some wealth as they will be pretty sure that we may not be returned again by people.

worst government by pranav on 03 Nov 2009

In the history of karnataka bjp is the first government to buy mla's by money operation kamala is the murder of democracy BSY should give resignstion to his post for the peace in karnataka

Idoits by Harsha on 03 Nov 2009

All MLA's should should be ashamed, When N.karnataka people are reeling under floods. They do not have food and shelter. These fellows are enjoying in Hyderbad and Goa. It is shameful. People should teach lesson to them. They are dreaming they will be power in another 50 years. But these fellows will never come to power for another 50 years. Stupids.

Political mismatch between criminales! by Janna on 03 Nov 2009

Yes, it is a potical drama from one of the reputed and discipline national party in karnataka. Even senior leader can't do anything for the rebellions in the disciple party due to money, muscle and indirect supports from other parties. The govt is under the control of reddies, they will definatly "Loot" our state within short period and looking for other party for their survive in future. They are giving statement which are meaningless as well as not related state administartion. They are struggling for their personal benefits rather than our state developments. We, citizens of our state should tell them a lesson for their shameful acts as well greed. They are misusing power for their supportors as well as relatives instead of us.

YOUR GOOD SENSE OF HUMOUR by R Sundar on 05 Nov 2009

Hey man, why you are joking around here by describing the BJP as reupted and disciplined National Party. Anyhow, I love your good sense of humour.

New Formula by Vijendra on 03 Nov 2009

A disciplined party BJP is buckling under the pressure of money. BJP sold itself to Reddys for power. Once in power Reddys are playing their games. Reddys wanted a political shelter for their illegal mining, for which it took BJP for a ride. Reddys who are new to politics knows nothing about kannada, karnataka etc., They know only illegal mining, for which they would annex Karnataka to Andhra. The ultimate formula will be to fulfil the ambition of Yeddi to be CM for 5 years, and Reddys will continue to loot the mines and continue illegal mining till next 5 years, and swith on their sides to the powers to be.

Some discipline.... by Roy on 04 Nov 2009

Perhaps the formula would be...a lil milk with a wee bit of arsenic...you have so much of imagination for a doodhwallah...ooops chaddiwallah...

What is the Answer? by GK Raj on 03 Nov 2009

We would like to ask BJP?You have expelled Jashwant singh for expressing his opinion on Md Ali Jinnah. Why you are silent about this chaos when entire North Karnataka is striving hard to regain for normalcy. Your double standard and bending to muscle, money and intention of clinging to power making us feel guilty why we have elected such an ideological(If so)partyWe wish to have an answer from Party officials itself. I request all citizen to ask questions to BJP

FERVENT HOPE by Anand on 03 Nov 2009

Hope the new formula formulated does not compromise the interest of the State to the undue advantage of the mining lobby and this is what the people of the State yearn for.

Yeddyurappa is CM by JNS on 03 Nov 2009

BSY is a the popular leader of a popular government in the state of Karnataka. The Reddy's tried to blackmail a popular government and have failed.BSY must be given a free hand to deal with any such rebellions in the future. The people of Karnataka are both proud and happy with the BSY led BJP government in the state.

BJP, a party with a Difference by Sajiv K. on 03 Nov 2009

BJP will go down to any level to survive in power - no matter even if it costs dearly to government exchequer.BJP in Karnataka will be BRP (Bharatiya Reddiars Party)

New formula is to promote another Madhu Koda by SC on 03 Nov 2009

If the present Chief Minister is changed it will lead to handing over Karnataka State to another Madhu Koda. Mind it Madhu Koda was promoted to prevent BJP to develop the State of Jharkhand. Another Madhu Koda at the present is not in the interest of the nation

YES, WE ARE AWARE OF THE NEW FORMULA by Vasu on 03 Nov 2009

The new formula for survival would be to sell the State to the Reddys and ensure that Yeddi's hold to gaddi is solidified. Who cares a damn for the people of the State ? What Yeddy and Reddys want is to loot the State and fill their locker as this is the last time they are going to be power in Karnataka.

Only Kannadiga must rule Karantaka Rreddy's hands off by kannadaiga on 03 Nov 2009

First,i wish non kannadiga's should refrain from behaving like kings, this is for both Vasu and Reddy.Telugu and Tamil People are taking kannadiga's for ride. This is not question of BJP or congress. This is not even question of Reddy brothers. This battle is battle for Kannada soul.I may not personally think Yeddyrappa is best, however he is kannadaiga. So non kannadaiga's should know their limit and reddy's should mind their mining business.Telugu lobby is at work with support from Congress.I would rather see Devegouda back as CM,but not non kannadiga Reddy's.It is all ploy from Congress party which is anti kananda.

Why are you angry? by JNS on 03 Nov 2009

Coz Congress failed to dislodge the government?

he is not ur angry by Gowda on 03 Nov 2009

coz ur the idiot to support BJP

WHY DRAG CONGRESS by R Sundar on 03 Nov 2009

Why are you bringing Congress into the scene ? They are not interested in destablising this Government, they know it will fall on its own and the BJP with the passage of time will still more become unpopular and the people will be disenchanted in such a manner that they will not once bring a BJP Government in Karnataka for eternity.
