New Delhi The Delhi Development Authority (DDA) on Monday said there was no irregularity in allotment of flats for its housing project.

"There is not even one per cent irregularity in draw of lots for the flats," DDA Director Housing, Asma Manzar told reporters in New Delhi.

Asserting that the draw was fair, she said, "We have not issued any demand letter and allotment letter and before that we would scrutinise the allotments so that no fraudulent allotments take place".

The Economic Offences Wing of Delhi Police's Crime Branch is investigating complaints that it received on December 16 that some property dealers had connived with DDA officials and applied for flats under fictitious names to get flats under SC/ST quota.

The Delhi Police has asked the civic body to furnish details of flats allotted under the SC/ST quota.
