"Whenever we receive any complaint of kickbacks, we take action," Defence Minister A K Antony said.
He, however, ruled out cancellation of 1.2 billion dollar deal with Israel for acquisition of three Falcon Air Control and Early Warning Control System (AWACS) with Israel.
The Minister's comments came after he inaugurated the fifth Indian Defence Expo in New Delhi in which 479 companies from 30 countries are participating.
Asked about Israeli media reports that India had nearly paid three times more for AWACS than the price quoted by China and that commissions were paid in the deal, Antony said, "the Defence Ministry has received no such complaints."
Companies like Boeing, Lockheed Martin and Raytheon from the US and Thales, Gican, DCNS from France are participating in the Expo.

It is good that Defence Minister AK Antony has categorically said that no middlemen will be allowed in our defence deals. During NDA's six year rule, 'Tehlka' had exposed large scale illegal money transfers to finalise the defence deals. The wads of currency notes being exchanged hands was shown on TV in full public gaze. The Barak, anti-sub-marine missile episode involving Nanda is still being dealt with legally. To upkeep country's perstige, AK Antony's bold step is in the right diection.
How Mr. Anthony is planning to the political bosses the election funds? Right from the time of Nehru to Rajiv, congress party has robbed the defence funding to support congress campaign machine as defence has more funds. Gas, Food, Aviations are the opportunity to fund those needs, but some of them are under other party's control who are partner in UPA, what Mr. Anthony is talking is just make to people fool!
How far can an indian politician or bureaucrat take his greed for money ... can anybody explain this to me . I think an indian will be willing to pimp his own mother of if he can make a fast buck without having to earn it himself.
