The colours were launched by Principal Harminder Sheena. She urged the students to to use these safe colours, and enjoy the festival in the real spirit. The event was made lively by holding a quiz on Holi, in which students from Class VIII took part. The maximum answers were given by the boys, who also won many colours as prizes.
Gagan Arora, Area Sales Manager, Pidilite Industries Limited, Chandigarh said, “Most colours available in the market for Holi are not good for health and not skin-friendly either. These may contain glass pieces and harmful chemicals.”
He added that the Rangeela colours have been prepared with ready-to-use powder colours, with food-grade colourants. These are free form harmful metals and harmful synthetic ingredients.
