Mumbai Film actor Rahul Bose may be an activist in real life, but is not comfortable with the idea of working in social cause-oriented movies.

"Films are meant for entertainment and a message, if any, should not be seen. I prefer a good story. 'Mr and Mrs Iyer' was basically a love story and audiences remembered it that way. But, there was also a message of communal harmony which is good," Bose told reporters.

The actor said that his forthcoming film 'Mumbai Chaka Chak' has a social message about keeping Mumbai clean.

"I did the film because I love my city very much," he said.

He said he does not find juggling between promoting social causes and working in movies difficult.

"I love my country very deeply and am committed to doing something to ease some problems," he said.

Bose said his forthcoming film 'Japanese Wife' directed by Aparna Sen was his best work till date.

His other releases include 'Kuch Love Jaisa', and 'Fired', he said.

The actor said that he has signed on three new films which he will begin shooting in the middle of September till March next year.

Bose has joined hands with 2 websites to start a blog in an attempt to create awareness about climate change and global warming among the young generation.

The blog will serve as a platform to work at the grassroot and not prepare strategies for advocating policy changes.

He said the blog will target urban India because the initiative is to start from where maximum waste is happening.

"A couple of days ago when there was high tide in Mumbai, 640 tonnes of garbage was thrown back by the sea. Our attempt is to focus on people who are so wealthy but not educated," he said.

The actor said he was planning to direct a movie next year.

"My American funders backed out due to recession. I am on the lookout for a new funder and will start work on my project later next year," he said.
