Nursing home owner arrested

Kolkata, May 28 The proprietor of a nursing home in Beliaghata was arrested on Wednesday for allegedly assaulting a former employee, Raju Chakraborty.

The police said Divine Nursing Home owner Lalit Soni and one of his employees Chandrakant Mishra were arrested while another employee V Murugan Karthik is absconding.

According to the complaint lodged by Chakraborty, Soni and others found him loitering near the nursing home on Wednesday morning and thrashed him.

The police said: "Chakraborty had been dismissed from service some time ago for allegedly spreading dissatisfaction among the hospital staff."
