So while it is still not clear as to how many of them will make it to the auction, the Haryana Urban Development Authority is keeping its fingers crossed.
The hotel will be a first of its kind in the region. At its proposed height of 75 metre, it will be the highest in the region. The reserved price for the site has been fixed at Rs 260 crore. HUDA Chief Administrator T C Gupta said around 200 national and international groups have been sent brochures on the auction of the five-star deluxe hotel.
He said top real estate developers have also been sent the details. So HUDA is expecting EMAAR MGF, Ansals, TDI, Uppal Group, Unitech, Omaxe, Sahara, DLF, Parsvnath, Pearl Group among others for the auction.
A HUDA official said the final quoted price is expected to touch Rs 700-800 crore.
“It is prime land in the city centre, which is adjacent to the sites for multi-level parking and shopping malls. The permissible ground area is 30 per cent of the plot area, Floor Area Ratio (FAR) is 175 per cent, permitted commercial area is up to 10 per cent of permissible FAR or 20 shops, whichever is less along with a three-tier basement free of FAR,” said the official.
The auction will be held at Indradhanush Auditorium, Sector 5, Panchkula on Wednesday.
