"There is no operation. Operation is your invention. State governments are carrying out all the (counter) insurgency measures against Naxalites. Wherever necessary the Central Government is providing assistance by way of central paramilitary forces, intelligence sharing and technical help. On whether there are any intelligence inputs about any fresh terror attack, he said, "Security forces are vigilant and perfectly capable of thwarting any attack. There is no reason to raise any alarm."
Asked about the reported links between Maoists and LTTE, he said the so-called links were only reported in the media.

He does not deserve to the Home Minister of any Country or even a State for that reason. How can he be entrusted with safety of the nation when he say that Maoists and Naxalites are law and order matters for the states to tackle and not that of the Central Govt which is contrary to what the Apex Court has been saying when goaded to say as far as Gujrat is concern.
In otherwards PC says state Government is responsible for the operation and central Government is for appeasement only.Again he says Security forces are vigilant and perfectly capable of thwarting any attack. There is no reason to raise any alarm.Which Security forces he means,State or Centre?
