In the tape broadcast on Al-Jazeera, the Arabic-language TV network, shortly after the US President touched down in Saudi Arabia, Bin Laden, the world's most wanted terrorist, accused Obama of following his predecessor George W Bush's policy of antagonising Muslims.
"He has followed the steps of his predecessor in antagonising Muslims ... and laying the foundation for long wars," Bin Laden said, referring to ongoing military offensive against Taliban and Al Qaeda militants in the restive Swat valley in Pakistan.
This message comes ahead of Obama's visit to Egypt on Thursday where he is to make a major speech to the Muslim world after eight years of fraught ties under Bush.
It also comes shortly after Bin Laden's number two Ayman al-Zawahiri urged Egyptians to shun Obama, saying his Middle East trip was at the invitation of the "torturers of Egypt" and the "slaves of America."
In the tape, Bin Laden cited strikes, destruction and Obama's "order" to Pakistani President Asif Ali Zardari "to prevent the people of Swat from implementing sharia law."
"All this led to the displacement of about a million Muslim elders, women and children from their villages and homes. They became refugees in tents after they were honoured in their own homes," the message said.
"This basically means that Obama and his administration put new seeds of hatred and revenge against America. The number of these seeds is the same as the number of those victims and refugees in Swat and the tribal area in northern and southern Waziristan."
The message added: "The American people need to prepare to only gain what those seeds bring up."
In March, Bin Laden also issued purported messages. He called for Somalia's new president to be overthrown and called Israel's recent offensive in Gaza a "holocaust." Bin Laden has delivered many messages over the years, but the last video message from him was in early September 2007.

Part One: It is too early to say whether President Barack Obama is befriending Muslims or antagonising them. We have to wait and see the outcome of his policies and practices on the question of Palestine. It is likely that he is going to remain as President for the next 8 years as the American public seems to like his more professional, competent and honest approaches: the qualities that both the Senior and Junior Bush were lacking. Every American President for the past 62 years had been making a political statement saying that the US guarantees the territorial integrity and independence of all nations in the Middle-East. Let any one go through the history of the US, it is very obvious that the US has had scant respect for its guarantees not only in the Middle East but also in other countries. The best example is Palestine. In 1948, the UNO divided Palestine into three regions, (1) Israel getting about 51% of Palestine (2) The Arab Palestinians getting 49% of the land area.
Part Two: (3) Jerusalem would be under international control. What is the present situation? The Israelis made it impossible for the Palestinians to form a State of their own even on one-third of the original land area given to them? Their situation is much worse than the situation of black South Africans under the worst apartheid. As a matter of fact South Africa’s Apartheid was several times better. What had happened to the promises of the world’s super power? Pure hallow and empty promises? Readers like Nishant Shah and Jaya may write off Osama as a raving lunatic, but please read the following well researched books by eminent American scholars (1) “Interventions” by Prof. Noam Chomsky 80 year old Jewish intellectual and (2) “The Rogue State: A Guide to the Word’s only Super Power” by William Blum. After reading those two books I was wondering whether some American intellectuals were carrying briefs for Osama Bin Laden
Osama's brand is spitting fire because the holy terrorists of Swat who threaten to expand, overrun and overtake pakistani nukes (ultimately) are being denied the ability to do so. A great opportunity for these perverts is fading into oblivion, so that they will not be able to kill and hold to ransom millions of innocents in pakistan and surrounding countries with nuclear weapons. If their visions had been correct, and people friendly, their philosophy had no reason to exist. They think that all muslims have a holy duty to bow to their wishes, and wage a perpetual violent jihad, whatever it may lead to, even if that may mean end of this world with nuclear weapons. Time has come to understand the gravity of situation if these people are allowed to run uncontrolled and uncivilised. It does not matter any more whether one is a muslim or non muslim; what matters is whether one is pro humanity or the opposite.
Laden studied in US and enjoyed his life there. When he became old he turned to Islam. His Islam understanding is very poor and distorted. He wants people to live poor, kill each other and consider women as slaves and pigs. If he is so interested in Muslim welfare, leave weapons and terrorism, tell muslims (espescially women) to get educated, accept other religions, do birth control by which family can give good living standards for children. Instead he wants to kill all americans, other nationalities, and non muslims inturn leading the misguided muslims to agony, sufferings and deaths.
