PCB to probe reasons behind Pak's Asia Cup defeat

Karachi, July 19: Pakistan Cricket Board will meet with captain Shoaib Malik and coach Geoff Lawson next week to find out reasons behind their Asia Cup defeat earlier this month.

"The Board's International Cricket Committee will meet with Malik, Lawson and team manager Talat Ali on Thursday to know why Pakistan flopped miserably in the Asia Cup at home," according to The News.

The committee will be chaired by Syed Ali Reza while Lt Gen (retd) Munir Hafeez and Ejaz Butt would be the other members.

The committee will also meet the selection committee to discuss issues pertaining to the national team besides various other issues.

Shoaib Malik should remain as captain. He himself did verywell with the bat. He captained the team well. All the best to him.
