New Delhi, May 13: Prime Minister Manmohan Singh strongly condemned the bomb blasts in Jaipur and appealed for calm.

Singh, who was briefed on the serial blasts that left several dead and scores injured, deplored the attack on innocent people.

He assured all support to the Rajasthan government and assistance to the affected families, PM's Media Advisor Sanjaya Baru said in a statement.

In 1983 he approved the opening of the Paki ISI bank in India. RAW advised against it but as RBI governor, Manmohan approved it.
