The exhibition was organised at the students’ centre on Friday. The activity was aimed at equipping students enrolled in the masters course with the skills in community service.
Children enrolled in two local NGOs had manufactured these goods such as handbags, folders, paper bags, pen stands, fancy envelopes etc.
The money recovered from the sale was handed to the respective NGOs. While Choti Si Asha is involved in projects to enhance skill development of slum children, Sadhna aims at providing creative skills to special children.
A number of eminent PU officials including Registrar Prof S S Bari, Dean Students Welfare Prof Naval Kishore and Prof Nishtha Jaswal visited the exhibition.
