Islamabad Pakistani authorities have arrested three men allegedly working for India's Research and Analysis Wing intelligence agency during a raid in the northwestern district of Abbottabad, according to a media report.

Personnel from an intelligence agency raided a “hideout” in Abbottabad district yesterday and arrested the three men identified as Muhammad Sharif, Ghulam Muhammad and Abdul Ghaffar, The News daily reported today.

The trio had allegedly entered Pakistan through the Wagah land border.

Pictures of prominent religious leaders and maps of sensitive places were allegedly found in their possession. The men were taken to an undisclosed location for interrogation, the report said.

The reported arrests came close on the heels of the detention of three alleged “RAW-trained” Pakistani citizens in the eastern Punjab province on January 29 for allegedly spying for India.
