Mumbai Pakistani authorities need to show urgency in taking action against those responsible for the Mumbai terror attacks, British Foreign Secretary David Miliband said in Mumbai on Thursday.

"Pakistani authorities need to detain people and take further action like prosecution and action against them if found guilty," Miliband said following a talk on 'After Mumbai, Beyond the War on Terror'.

"We need to hold the Pakistani government to their promise that people caught should put through their judicial system and then punished," he said.

Terrorist organisations like Lashkar-e-Taiba needs to be tackled at the root and policy needs to be changed to do so, the British foreign secretary said, adding that he would be discussing this during his upcoming visit to Islamabad.

No more demans by Mothepedo on 16 Jan 2009

Nuke them. No choice. They have been preparing for this war for a very very very long time. Their religion does not allow for 'lasting' peace as we are all 'Kuffars' and infidels. Besides, we do not want this evil idelogy spreading anymore. We need to curb it now even if it means sacrificing our own lives.
